Espero que hayan tenido un muy buen comienzo del 2016. Les escribo este e-mail para compartir con ustedes los detalles finales sobre su próxima actividad de AFS: Midstay Orientation (12, 13 y 14 de febrero 2016). Los objetivos de esta actividad son compartir con ustedes, darles seguimiento y recomendaciones, reflexionar sobre toda la experiencia y el impacto que ha tenido esta hasta ahora y prepararlos para los siguientes pasos de su intercambio.

En esta orientación estarán formados por 1 sólo grupo. Todo participante en la República Dominicana deberá de participar del mismo, dada que la asistencia es obligatoria.



¿Qué debes llevar?

- Ropa cómoda, pantalones cortos, jeans, t-shirts, etc.
- Traje de baño
- Toalla
- Abrigo
- Artículos de higiene personal (jabón, cepillo de dientes, pasta dental, desodorante, shampoo)
- Calzado: Tenis, sandalias
- Repelente
- Protector solar
- Ropa de cama y almohada
- Opcional: Cámara y un instrumento musical (si tocas uno)



¿Dónde será la orientación?

Campo Aventura, Carretera Bayaguana – Sierra de Agua, Comatillo, Monte Plata



¿Cuál es el punto de encuentro principal el viernes 12 de febrero?
•Oficina Nacional de AFS (c/ Juan Isidro Ortega #17, Los Prados, Santo Domingo) – Hora de Encuentro: 1:30 p.m. --> Estudiantes de Las Matas de Farfán, San Juan de la Maguana, San Juan de Ocoa, Gran Santo Domingo, Punta Cana y La Romana.
•Santiago (Baskin Robins al lado de Metro ST) – Hora de Salida: 12:30 p.m. --> Estudiantes de Santiago, Puerto Plata y Moca
•La Vega (Expreso Vegano) – Hora de salida: 1:00 p.m. --> Estudiantes de La Vega, Jima Abajo y Salcedo
•Bonao (Típico Bonao de la Autopista Duarte) – Hora de salida: 1:30 p.m. --> Estudiantes de Bonao y Constanza
•Maimón (Bomba Isla) – Hora de salida: 1:55 p.m. --> Estudiantes de Maimón



**Deben de estar 30 minutos antes de la hora de salida en el punto de encuentro, a excepción de los que saldrán desde la Oficina Central de AFS que tienen hora de encuentro, no de salida.**


El domingo 14 de febrero estaremos saliendo de la orientación a las 2:30 p.m., los buses de Santo Domingo y Santiago harán su misma ruta y los estudiantes de Puerto Plata, Nagua y Samaná se irán en un tercero con paradas en Nagua (Parque Central frente al Colegio Belén) y en Puerto Plata (Parque Central).

Recordar:
•Mostrarle este e-mail a tus padres de hospedaje.
•Esta orientación es obligatoria.
•Esta orientación la cubre el programa AFS, por lo tanto es gratis.
•Debes llegar a tiempo al punto de encuentro qu te corresponde, para evitar retrasos.
•Traer las facturas del transporte.
